01 / Desktop utility

Speaker Volume Bridge

Use your computer's normal volume controls to adjust a Sonos speaker on your local network.

A background app for Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu that keeps a selected Sonos speaker and computer audio output in sync, without an account or cloud service.

What it does

  • Syncs volume from the computer to Sonos, with optional two-way and mute synchronization.
  • Can follow the current audio output or stay attached to a chosen device.
  • Adds a safe volume limit and a weekly Night Mode schedule for compatible speakers.

What you need

Requires a compatible Sonos speaker on the same network and a software-controlled audio output. Ubuntu also needs PulseAudio or PipeWire with pactl.

02 / Home Assistant integration

E-REDES Smart Metering Plus

Bring data from Portugal's E-REDES Smart Metering Plus service into Home Assistant.

A HACS-compatible integration that accepts E-REDES webhook updates, creates a device for each allowed meter, and exposes energy, power, and voltage readings when available.

What it does

  • Creates a separate Home Assistant device for each configured CPE.
  • Tracks imported and exported energy, power, and available per-phase readings.
  • Offers optional Authorization-header validation and a CPE allowlist.

What you need

Requires Home Assistant 2026.1 or newer, an active Smart Metering Plus service, and a webhook URL reachable by E-REDES.
